Industrias Westts was established in 1997 in San José, Costa Rica, Central America, which is strategically located to serve all The Americas.

In addition to being a beautiful and peaceful place, Costa Rica is only 2 hours away from North America and only 90 minutes from South America. Our president is a French-Canadian residing in Latin America for more than 15 years. We respect the values and standards of North America and understand the specific needs of the different Latin American markets.

From inception, Industrias Westts has been dedicated to the marketing of plastic compounds (master batch) from Canada. Today, we are presently in 11 Latin American markets offering compounds from North America, South America, and Asia.

In 2003 our company started marketing diverse specialized polymers. That year we also started working with the Canadian company “New Form Tools” in order to offer an extensive line of industrial knives.

In 2004 we dedicated our efforts to the creation of a new division for the marketing of a variety of metallurgical, iron and steel products.

In 2005 our company started exporting whole teak logs and billets. Due to the demand, we are now expanding production of rough cut squares (RSQ). We are constantly exploring opportunities to market new product lines in the year 2007 and beyond.
